What story will you tell?
What story will you tell?

They say if you really want to do something well, find something you’re passionate about. I think people often struggle between doing something they love and feeling they need to have a “job” in life. What’s beautiful is when you find both in the same place.

In the last week or so, I’ve found myself at a place where I am simply loving what I do and what life brings. I write every day on my book and it’s getting closer to being done. I work with the courses I teach, where we have some awesome students. I also work with my South Hill Designs business and that is so much fun.

Telling stories is something that speaks to my soul. I believe it’s why writing works for me. It’s also a natural match to combine the idea of telling those stories in a locket. I love hearing what other people talk about as they create a visual representation of the story they want to tell. I’ve built a new website for this business and hope you will stop by and taking a look. My plan is to keep this site for personal things and to keep you all updated on the progress of my book.

Teaching is something I have loved for a very long time as well. It’s one of those things where you see people learn and grow and move toward accomplishing their dreams.

At the beginning of this year, I chose three words for my life this year. I do that instead of New Year’s resolutions. One of my words was inspire. I hope to be inspired and to inspire others. It’s good to be in a place where I feel like that word is actively showing itself in my life.

What about you? How do you find the things you are passionate about and how do you incorporate those into your life? I’d love to hear your story!
