I’ve been working for awhile now on a fun Ebook for MTs called “Bloopers, Typos, and Speech Wreck.” I realized this weekend I have become much like the students I have worked with, who want to hold onto an assignment until they have time to read it “just one more time.” I have been doing exactly that with this book. It’s my first attempt at one of these, and I just wanted to be sure I had it right. So today I am choosing to do what I have always told students, and just “hit the send button.”
This book is just something fun for you to enjoy. All of us, as MTs, have spent some of our day chuckling at the “misspeaks” of the doctors, or even our own typos as we transcribe on autopilot. With the entrance of speech recognition technology to our world, we got even more chuckles as we saw the engines create some pretty funny stuff. I have collected some of these, some have been sent to me by other MTs for use in this project. I want to thank everyone who participated in this as it has been a work in progress for awhile now.
